APICS - The Association for Operations Management
APICS—The Association for Operations Management is a not-for-profit international educational organization respected throughout the world for its education and professional certification programs. With more than 33,000 individual and corporate members in 15,000 companies worldwide, APICS is dedicated to using education to improve the business bottom line.
The Dayton Chapter has supported the international APICS organization since 1961 and has been recognized for excellence in chapter management, receiving the platinum award of excellence for twenty five consecutive years.
The Dayton Chapter:
Founded in 1957 as the American Production and Inventory Control Society, APICS has continued to expand its focus to stay current with new management techniques to include a full range of programs and materials on individual and organizational education standards of excellence, and integrated resource management. To reflect this current direction, we are now known as APICS—The Association for Operations Management. The Dayton chapter is a Channel Partner with APICS International and supports the full range of program and educational offerings.
